Still Winter ... PFF

It looks like these guys are having a bit of fun at a winter party before spring finally arrives!

(Although I know most people in our part of the world are tired of the cold!)

Oregon's Crater Lake Postcard

I was so little when our family visited Crater Lake that the only thing I really remember is the verrrry, verrrrry lonnnnnng straight road we had to drive to get there.

((As I recall I had to use the bathroom at the time, and there was a little urgency involved - which may help to explain this inexplicable memory))

Someday I will go back and get some adult memories of this beautiful place.

Oregon's Painted Hills Postcard

It's been more than 30 years since I've visited the Painted Hills in Central Oregon. These are incredible geologic formations - many are not much taller than a person!

I found this postcard at a local thrift store ... and immediately had the urge for a Road Trip!
