I've been to Cannon Beach before ... but never during the sea sculpture contest!
But then again ... I've never been into large crowds.
That's why I usually try to go to the beach in the off-season.
When it's quiet.
And I have the beach all to myself.
But look at what I've been missing!!!

I love cards like that showing a local event and I like sand sculptures too.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a convenient sandy subject? Try a sandy giraffe. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is a sand sculpture contest on Galveston Island and I've never been. This card makes me want to go! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteWe have a sand sculpture contest in Clearwater every year. I too like to do things during off hours and avoid crowds. I miss a lot because of that but have more time to enjoy the things that come in the peace and quiet.
ReplyDeleteGosh there are a lot of people there, great card. My local beech is pebbly and the sand only shows when the tide is out so would have to work quick to sculpt.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. I love the sand sculpture!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful postcard! I wonder if they still hold that festival?! Happy PFF!
