I've always wanted to see the giant redwood trees in southern Oregon/northern California.
Sadly, though I've driven by that area several times, I've never been able to stop.
"Here we are in the rain again, but getting closer to home. Hope to get to Crescent City tonight. The van's doing great. Just put on 3200 miles in 3 weeks.
Sorry, we left the sun in SF. It wouldn't come with us.
See you soon.

I have always wanted to see the redwoods too Clytie. Maybe one day!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to see them also. Love the misty, magical look to this card! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteO.K when do we leave ladies. I'd love to see them too.
ReplyDeleteI've been there--and they are truly lovely. The bark is so thick on some of the trees that they're hollow. You can play the tree like a giant bongo drum--the sound is cool and quite unique.
ReplyDelete(grin) Thanks for sharing, Sissy! Happy PFF!
Beautiful atmospheric card! I'd love to go to - may I join the party? :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen some smaller versions this weekend while on vacation. I also wrote a post about the largest tree in New Zealand. It used to be larger, but a storm broke off a lot of the upper branches a few years ago.
