Folkar - Company of Canada Limited Drummond Bldg, Montreal, Canada, Copyright Canada 1929 Reg'd USA Patent Office"
This is a very interesting postcard to me. It has perforations around 3 edges, and apparently folds open - so the writer can have an entire sheet for correspondence. If you click on the photos to enlarge, you will see the perforation holes.
I don't remember how these came to be in my collection, but I have a total of 3 - all from Canada.

Lovely view, and a clever design.

An interesting variation on a postcard, a little like the aerogrammes we used to have. (Maybe we still do!) I haven't seen anything like this before.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see the perforations - haven't ever seen anything like that, either.
ReplyDeleteOf course I love this postcard--it is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteHappy PFF!
Don't forget to visit Gemma's Mailbox meme--I forgot to add in the link on PFF--but it's there now!
Quite a view! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the fold out, unusual, and useful, I always run out of room when writing on cards.
