1945 Valentine Card

The discoloration around the heart comes from the silky material insert.

Postmark date 1945. Ivor and Mildred were separated by his time in the US Navy. How tough that must have been! It touches MY heart, though, to see the love they still shared.

Sweet sentiment from Mildred to Ivor. There was no envelope for this one, so I am uncertain of the date. But I am not uncertain of the love they had.

I like the way the card folds out, then nestles sweetly back together.
