I found it in a box of Grammie's papers.
This beautiful card is dated 1994, and was given to LHBC (the former Ladd Hill Bible Church).
I'm not sure how Grammie ended up with it, except that she attended that church for many years, and probably pulled it out of the trash because she loved beautiful things.
There is a note on the front "I think the Martins" ... probably because there is no indication on the back as to who it was from!

ReplyDeleteA beautiful card to rescue, and so unusual.
ReplyDeleteIt is a really lovely card. I wonder how long they were there in Chad?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful postcard--I have never seen a postcard like this one--the artwork is spectacular! I'm sure Grammie loved it because of the art. She had a wonderful eye for beauty.
ReplyDeleteHappy PFF!
That is very nice folk art. I wish there was a description of the card about it.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great postcard! But, of course, I just love Africa. :-)
