The Merry Milk Maids Postcard, Vintage

This is another postcard from the Chambard collection I bought in July.
Most of the postcards are dated from between 1890 and 1920.

This postcard shows an apparent cast of "The Merry Milk Maids".
I couldn't find any background information about this production ... if you know anything about when, where and what this group was about, please let me know - I'd love to hear from you!

  2. This is not quite how I would have expected a cast of an operetta about country milk maids to look!! Very interesting.
