This postcard depicts the famous "Old Faithful" geyser at Yellowstone National Park. It looks pretty much the same now as it did in 1992 (when this postcard was issued) ... and the same as it looked when my family visited back in 1965 or so. I was just a little tyke, but I have vivid memories of Old Faithful!
I am glad that our national parks have reopened after the 2-week shutdown ... but, like many Americans, am frustrated that it happened.
I won't get into politics here, because I loathe politics.
And I know that my opinion is just that. MY opinion. I will not force it on you, although I suspect most people hold similar opinions!
So I will just let it go with this ... I will express MY opinions during the next election.

I'm glad they are open again, too. Beautiful country. Lovely card. Happy PFF.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen 'Old Faithful' of Yellowstone, for that matter. I'm glad nothing much has changed.
ReplyDeleteI loved Old Faithful as a child. I still love it. I'm among those who are frustrated our national parks were closed. I also loathe politics. My views are my own and I'm so grateful to live in a country where I can have my own opinion. (grin)
ReplyDeleteThis postcard is WONDERFUL! Brought back memories of when I was a wee bug of a child, walking on the board walks in Yellowstone Park. As I recall, I loved Old Faithful and the mud pots the best.
