Oregon's Painted Hills Postcard

It's been more than 30 years since I've visited the Painted Hills in Central Oregon. These are incredible geologic formations - many are not much taller than a person!

I found this postcard at a local thrift store ... and immediately had the urge for a Road Trip!

Instead, I'm doing the next best thing and linking up with Beth's "Postcard Friendship Friday" - where I can go on a virtual "road trip" around the world!!!

  2. Ah, what a beautiful postcard. Remember our road trips? It would be so fun to do that again sometime. I've never been to this location--but I would love to someday.

I love you, my darling SissyBoo.

  3. Being a geography major when I was in university, I'm with you on wanting a road trip now. it would be great, though perhaps a detour south for a month or two first would be in order. Thanks for sharing this great find.
