I found this "Twin Peaks" card years ago - one of my first Goodwill Surplus Store purchases. I never watched the show, but knew it was filmed in Washington state.

I save cards and letters ... I have boxes full of them. Most of the older cards I have were rescued from a dumpster several years ago, and have been in storage ever since. Others I find at the Goodwill Surplus store nearby (where I buy them by the pound, so they are nearly free).
It is time to liberate these treasures and share them with the world! I am especially interested in cards that have a personal touch, so I will include any and all writings that make these cards so fun. Many are still in their original envelopes, and I will include these as well, since they also tell their own stories.

- As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.
THAT is just too cool! It is a beautiful area, that is for sure. One time we even performed near there--we got lost, went into the only place open--a bar to ask for directions.
ReplyDeleteImagine Alan's astonishment to see our poster in the entryway spotlighted for all to see! That was a wonderful experience, by the way. We performed in a school gym, and all the people were so wonderful. That happened to us before TwinPeaks came along. (grin)
