Uncle Dale longed to travel the United States and the world. He had a handicap, however, that prevented him from finishing school past the 3rd grade, and made it impossible to ever drive a car. He mostly stayed home and took care of Grammie.
But they had wonderful friends. Sometimes their friends took Uncle Dale with them on their adventures ... at other times, they shared their own travels with him - to help him fulfill his dreams.

A friend of mine from New Mexico told me about the desert in bloom. It sounds wonderful and so is your card. How great that people remembered your Uncle Dale when they were away.

Your Uncle Dale sounds like a wonderful caring person. I'm glad he has/had such a good family and a great Grammie and Niece.
