Hubbard Oregon Christmas
I don't know the date of this adorable card. I found it taped to a piece of paper in Uncle Ivor's stuff. I love the simple and quaint artwork. The stamp cancellation reads "Hubbard Oregon", but does not have a date.
I save cards and letters ... I have boxes full of them. Most of the older cards I have were rescued from a dumpster several years ago, and have been in storage ever since. Others I find at the Goodwill Surplus store nearby (where I buy them by the pound, so they are nearly free).
It is time to liberate these treasures and share them with the world! I am especially interested in cards that have a personal touch, so I will include any and all writings that make these cards so fun. Many are still in their original envelopes, and I will include these as well, since they also tell their own stories.
Thank You
Thank you Marge, for this award. You warm my heart and soul.
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.
It is so amazing how you have all these charming cards from your family. So fun to see them.
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable card. How I long for a snowman today. (grin) Just think, Sissy, in another four months, it could be snowing....
