Postcard - Nestle's Food For Infants

This beautiful artwork is by Alphonse Mucha, 1897.
It has only been recently that I discovered his art, and I'm starting to see it everywhere!

The postcard itself was printed in 1986.

  1. I love this! I have seen many ads in magazines taken out and offered at flea markets. But I don't think I've seen one on a postcard.

  2. Oh, Sissy! Mucha is one of my favorite artists--in fact, I've been gathering a collection of his artistry, and others who emulated him, in order to learn how to draw in that style.

thank you for sharing this--I am going to put it into my collection... (grin)

    ((hugs))

  3. I've never heard of him, but that's a great card. It definitely looks like something from another time.

  4. gorgeous as can be. I think he did quite a bit of advertizing with his art.
