1916 Correspondence Card - Happy PFF!

I love the way this card is addressed - to Master Ivor Davies,
Molalla, Oregon

"Dear Ivor, how are you enjoying your vacation? I know you are having a splendid time playing in the creek in your back yard. I'd like to go wading with ..."

you ..."

Best regards to your mother & father.
Miss Stuart

  3. I'd rather be playing in the creek than starting school at 7:30. Certainly a lot of correspondence on a small card.

  4. Miss Stuart was very proper. I was curious about the Oregon State Normal School, so I looked it up. It is now Western Oregon University! In 1911 they had 138 students, so it must have grown very fast by the time she wrote this card. Great card, thanks for sharing it!

  5. I was intrigued and looked up Oregon State Normal School and find that it's now Western Oregon University. I wonder if Miss Stewart was training to be a teacher? I love these glimpses into lives so long ago.
