How beautiful! I would love to visit there someday, Sissy!
ReplyDeleteHappy PFF!
I wonder, too. I love that Sitka is the 4th most populous city in Alaska with a population of just under 9,000. I had to look twice at that number to make sure it wasn't 90,000!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm trying to talk my husband into an Alaskan cruise...I've always wanted to go there.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Alaska someday too.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to visit Alaska ... someday! Happy PFF
ReplyDeleteAlaska in 1939, another world, no doubt. Lovely card, esp. like the fountain-pen script on the back.
ReplyDeleteOh this is my dream vacation place. I have been dreaming about it for years. I have started a fund and actually making plans to go in 2012! I am so excited! Great postcard! Things sure have changed! Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P
ReplyDeleteFascinating place, I like the steamer sailing into view.
ReplyDeleteThese are interesting to me because I collect postcards.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
As it says on the card, the mountain does look so much like Mount Fujiyama in Japan! I can't quite read the writing - "ready to sail and no stops between here and ..."... somewhere!
ReplyDeleteSorry to be so late with my post and my comments this week. Life got in the way. :)
